Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has alleged that Gujarat Police searched their workplaces in Ahmedabad final night and left with out discovering something. Ahmedabad police, nonetheless, has denied conducting any such raid.

Ahmedabad police took to Twitter this morning to disclaim that any such raid was performed.

“The news that the Aam Aadmi Party office has been raided by the police has come to light through social media. No such raids have been carried out by the city police,” it stated.

In response, Mr Gadhvi stated that three cops had come for the raids. “They did not have any warrant or document. It is evident that the raid was unofficial. There was no mention of it in records. This is the BJP’s style of harassing people in Gujarat.”

AAP, which is at loggerheads with the BJP, has come beneath the scanner of the central investigative businesses in Delhi and Punjab.

Last month, Mr Kejriwal’s deputy Manish Sisodia’s premises had been searched by the Central Bureau of Investigation over an alleged rip-off within the liquor coverage.

In Punjab, the Enforcement Directorate raided a number of premises linked to AAP MLA Jaswant Singh Gajjan Majra. AAP stated the raid on the legislator from the Amargarh meeting constituency, was political vendetta.
