Karnataka Congress Leaders Detained Over ‘PayCM’ Posters In Bengaluru

Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar, and a number of other different leaders of the celebration have been detained in Bengaluru at present in reference to the ‘PayCM’ marketing campaign focusing on Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. Earlier this week, posters resembling the design of e-wallet Paytm, and carrying the picture of Mr Bommai on the QR code with the message “40% accepted here” had surfaced throughout Bengaluru.

If scanned, the QR code directs one to a web site — ‘40% Sarkara’ — accusing the Bommai-led BJP authorities was charging 40 per cent fee on public works. The web site was launched just a few days in the past by Congress.

Calling the marketing campaign an “evil design” Mr Bommai mentioned,  “They have given no evidence”

“It is all politically motivated. I have challenged them to produce proof. During their (Congress) tenure, there were many scams that should be looked into,” he was quoted as saying by information company ANI.
