Vienna:

UN atomic watchdog chief Rafael Grossi stated Sunday that “powerful explosions” occurred at Ukraine’s Russian-controlled Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant yesterday night and this morning, in what gave the impression to be “renewed shelling” at Europe’s largest nuclear plant.

“The news… is extremely disturbing. Explosions occurred at the site of this major nuclear power plant, which is completely unacceptable,” Grossi stated in a written assertion, including that the harm to buildings, techniques and gear recorded up to now was not “critical”.
