The Rajasthan authorities has made a provision of Rs 200 crore within the 2022-23 funds to offer free sanitary napkins to girls and ladies, state minister Mamta Bhupesh stated on Friday.

Mamta Bhupesh, the ladies and baby improvement minister, stated the ‘I Am Shakti Udan’ scheme is being applied in a phased method in your entire state.

Supply orders have been issued to offer free sanitary napkins to over 1.15 crore beneficiaries at 60,361 anganwadi facilities in 33 districts, and 26.48 lakh beneficiaries in 34,104 authorities colleges within the state, the minister stated.

In the final one yr, Rajasthan Medical Services Corporation Limited (RMSCL) has offered free sanitary napkins to 26,220 colleges in 31 districts, and 31,255 anganwadi facilities in 23 districts. A complete of Rs 104.78 crore has been spent by RMSCL for the aim, she stated.
