Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Yadav will quickly meet Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi, stated Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, because the leaders are aiming to unite the Opposition to counter the BJP within the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

He reiterated that if all Opposition events unite then they are going to be profitable in defeating the BJP within the 2024 basic elections.

“It is a good thing. It has been clearly said that if all of us are united, we will be successful (in defeating BJP),” he advised reporters when requested about Nitish Kumar’s current conferences with Opposition leaders in Delhi.

Nitish Kumar met Congress chief Rahul Gandhi, Samajwadi Party leaders Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav, Communist Party of India (Marxist) basic secretary Sitaram Yechury, and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal throughout his current go to to the nationwide capital.
